Still I Rise

There are times when I think about Michael that catch me off-guard.  Times when I am struck with an overwhelming and humbling realization of the enormity of Him - the incredible Power and impact of His Love , and the magnitude of all that He accomplished in the face of the many disadvantages, adversities, struggles, afflictions, and otherwise that challenged Him on immense terms. His ability to rise above all of that ... to remain in Love, and to still Become ... to reach for His higher Purpose and achieve it .... THIS is the example that Michael is.  His Purity and Perfection is not defined by what decisions He made under whatever circumstances ... but solely by His LOVE ... the way He felt, shared, taught and lived it. Nothing else.  And it's the only thing that decides His Divinity. The last thing this world needs is another pristine distortion of a Saviour.  Let Him be human in every fibre of His being, with all the frailties that humans struggle with.  Let Him make decisions with no more foresight than any of us... and sometimes, just like all of us, suffer consequences for those decisions.  Let Him be abused , and have His childhood stolen , be used as a commodity, have His appearance , preferences, choices, lifestyle , artistic expression , race , gender... absolutely everything that Michael was, be judged , misinterpreted , analyzed and distorted... all on a global scale .  And STILL in the face of all of that, watch Him rise above all barriers, expectations, and limitations like never before seen . Even after all that was done to Him, watch as He continues to respect and LOVE humanity with a magnitude that exceeds probably anyone . 

THAT, to me, is the definition of Purity and Perfection . And THAT is why He is my Saviour. 
May we all strive to be the example that this remarkable man set for us .
